The first short course of the FORGREENSOFT project will be held from the 4^th to the 7^th of July 2023 at FORTH, which is located in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.

This short course will focus on green soft matter and their applications. Lectures will be given by Prof. Maria Vamvaki (FORTH, Greece), Prof. Paschalis Alexandridis (University at Buffalo, US), Prof. Krassimir Velikov (UNILEVER, The Netherlands), Prof. Theodora Krasia (University of Cyprus, Cyprus), Dr. Patrice Roose (Belgium) and Prof. Markus Antonietti (Max-Planck-Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany).

The focus of this short  course is, as laid out the in the title, on green soft matter like biodegradable polymers and bio-based materials like for example cellulose and other sustainable materials and their applications in recycling or
consumer goods to name just few.
